(I can't ever remember when I found this, or where, all I know is that I added it to my 'Book of Shadows' in 2002 and I didn't add the author's name I do however think that this is a beautiful poem)

Holy Pan, keeper of the forest deep
Wild silences, mountains sleep
Piper of the primal song
Lord of twilight, lord of dawn
Dance within and dance without
Dance around my wild heart
Come to me my lover green
Fill my mind, fulfil my being
Stir my soul and stir my feet
To dance with thee in sacred beet
Holy Pan wild son of earth
Dance with me in joy and mirth

"Of course I'm in a bad mood - Some one just dropped a house on my sister!"

Fainthearted animals move about in herds. The lion walks alone in the desert. Let the poet always walk thus.
