Question time - which writer do you want to be?

If you could be any other writer, which one would you want to be and Why?

Personally I'd choose Tolkien, I wish I could put have as much detail into my works as he has in "Lord of the Rings" I feel that when it comes to describing a scene my stories do not have enough to even form a vivid picture.

Or is that just me being overly critical?

What about everyone else?
