A Song Of Enchantment
By Libera

A song of enchantment I sang me there
In a green green wood by waters fair
Just as the word came up to me
I sang it under a wild wood tree

Widdershins turned I sing it low
Watching the wild birds come and go
No cloud in the deep dark blue to be seen
Under the thick thatch branches green

Twilight came, silence came
The planet of evening's silver Flame
By darkening paths I wandered through
Thickets trembling with drops of dew

But the music is lost and the words are gone
Of the song I sang as I sat along
Ages and ages have fallen on me
On the wood and the pool and the elder tree

Post  LyxisMorgan on Fri 30 Dec 2011 - 0:53 - I keep wanting to listen to what they sound like and so I was back on You Tube again and found this link on the song straight from the Album "Free" by Libera.

Thanks Feronia for posting this on the site. Again you have found another beautiful song.

"Of course I'm in a bad mood - Some one just dropped a house on my sister!"

Fainthearted animals move about in herds. The lion walks alone in the desert. Let the poet always walk thus.
